Download RC By Vehicle Number
You can follow the steps given below to download the RC of the vehicle -
Stage 1:- You have to click on https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/vahanservice/ copy to download RC.
Stage 2:- You will get to see something like this in front of you, now you can proceed with either the registration number of your vehicle or the registering authority.
Stage 3:- As we want to proceed through vehicle registration number, so we have entered the plate number of our vehicle. I accept is ticked, proceed button is clicked.
Stage 5:- Click on Services > Apply for Certificate > RC Particulars option, to Download RC.
Stage 7:- If chassis or VIN number of your vehicle is not known, only vehicle registration number is there, you don't have chassis number or VIN number then you can search chassis number online. For this you must have the registration number. Click on the Click Here button to find chassis number from online website.
Stage 8:- Registered mobile number will be displayed from your vehicle, as you can see, here you are getting to see the last 4 digits of the mobile number, OTP will be sent per ISI mobile number. To send the OTP, you need to click on the button to generate OTP. If your mobile number is wrong, you are not receiving OTP then you can update mobile number.
Stage 9:- Then OTP has been sent in front of you, its message will be displayed. Then you have to close this message by clicking X cross button.
Stage 10:- 4 digit code will come on your mobile number enter that OTP button on every click. Then have to do the Submit button per click.
Stage 11:- You will get to see the vehicle owner and vehicle details in front of you but you are asked to pay a charge of Rs.100. To download rc. Now you have to give unique pay per click button.
Stage 12:- Confirmation message is displayed in front of you, now you have to click on Confirm Payment button in front of you.
Stage 13:- Now you have to select the payment gateway option, choose e-GRAS, tick the I accept terms and conditions and then click on continue button.
Stage 14:- As you click continue button then you will see this in front of you.. Now you have to do per click payment gateway option and select SBI ePay, click Proceed button.
Stage 15:- The view of the challan will appear in front of you. Now you have to click on the continue button to make the payment of Rs.100.
Stage 16:- Multiple methods are displayed for making your same payment, you can click on UPI, select UPI QR and click on Pay Now button, a QR code will be displayed in front of you. Which you can pay by scanning the QR from any application.
Step 17:- As you make the payment, you will get to see something like this in front of you. Our challan has been successful. You have to wait some more.
Step 18:- Then the RC certificate is displayed in front of you, now you can take a print out of it. This is a digital RC, it can be used anywhere.
